PAWS Psychology Services

Child Psychology

PAWS Psychology support children (5+) and young people in Eltham and surrounding suburbs with anxiety, ADHD, autism, school refusal, social difficulties and other emotional or developmental challenges.

We offer support to families for a wide range of developmental and psychological challenges, helping your child thrive.

Adult Psychology Services

At PAWS Psychology, we support adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, low mood, trauma, relationship difficulties, neurodivergence and life transitions. Sessions are available at our Eltham clinic and via Telehealth.

We offer general psychology services for adults, supporting a wide range of mental health concerns, and providing a space for real talk, tailored support, and evidence-based care.

Adult Neurodivergent Coaching

At Paws Psychology, we provide strengths-based neurodivergent coaching and psychologist support for adults who are diagnosed or exploring ADHD. Sessions can focus on attention, organisation, executive functioning, relationships, study or workplace support.

Our Adult ADHD Support services are designed to help you navigate these challenges, improve your daily functioning, and enhance your overall quality of life.

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT)

Our therapy dogs and cats can be included in sessions (at no extra cost) to help many people feel more relaxed, engaged and regulated during therapy. Animal assisted therapy is available at our Eltham clinic, depending on suitability and animal availability.

The thought of attending psychology sessions can potentially be a bit daunting for adults, children and any parents of children who will visit a psychologist. Incorporating therapy dogs facilitate a welcoming and calming environment.

Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP)

The Australian National Children's Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy is a world-first, and provides a framework to help support the mental health and wellbeing of children 12 and younger, as well as their families. It was developed by the National Mental Health Commission and supported by an expert advisory group, based on months of consultation with the sector.
